1. DECLARATION ON ACCESSIBILITY

Leder & Schuh AG (FN 36782 t), Lastenstraße 11, 8020 Graz (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) endeavours to make its websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (Accessibility Act - BaFG (Federal Law Gazette I. No. 76/20023) as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882).

This accessibility statement applies to the following website/mobile application: https://www.humanic.net/cz.

In the course of this declaration on accessibility, the company has complied with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) as far as possible. This applies in particular to aspects such as a clear and comprehensible structure of the content, sufficient colour contrasts, simple navigation and compatibility with common assistive technologies. Our aim is to provide all users - regardless of their individual abilities or technical requirements - with equal access to our digital services. The continuous improvement of accessibility is an ongoing process that we take seriously and actively promote.

The company operates an internet portal at https://www.humanic.net/cz.(hereinafter referred to as the ‘online shop’), through which users can order goods online and obtain information about the product range. Further information, in particular on the conclusion of the contract (description of our services, explanations on the implementation of our services) can be found at: https://www.humanic.net/cz/terms-and-conditions.

2. CONFORMITY STATUS

This website/mobile application is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.2’ or with the European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council:

Current status of our accessibility adaptations

We are constantly working to make our website optimally accessible for all users. This means that we implement the Web Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure that people with different needs can use the site without any problems.

Some adjustments have already been completed, others are in progress or are about to be implemented. Here is an overview of the outstanding points and why they are important to us:

What is still open and why?

The remaining points fall into the following categories:

Better navigation and orientation:

  • Make ‘Read more’ links in the FAQs accessible: We ensure that screen readers can better recognise and read out these links so that all users know where they lead.
  • Improve keyboard control: Functions such as filter dropdowns and the second navigation should also be able to be operated and closed using the keyboard only. This is important for users who cannot or do not want to use a mouse.
  • Meaningful page titles: We optimise the titles of FAQ, checkout and user pages so that they clearly describe what the respective page is about. This helps with orientation, especially if you have many tabs open or are using a screen reader.
Clear labelling and descriptions:

  • Make buttons and icons easier to understand: We provide symbols such as those for address actions in the checkout or the quantity buttons in the shopping basket with invisible labels (ARIA labels, alt texts). These are read aloud by screen readers and provide blind or visually impaired users with precise information about the function of the elements.
  • Alternative texts for images: Images, for example on product cards, are given descriptive texts so that users who cannot see images can still understand the content.
Visual clarity and consistency:

  • Standardise focus styles: When you move around the website using the keyboard, an element is emphasised (focus). We ensure standardised and clearly visible highlighting so that you always know exactly where you are.
  • Accessibility for interactive elements: Carousels and sliders are adapted so that they are easy to use and understand for people with limited mobility or visual impairments.
  • Optimisation of account registration and administration: Accessibility in the login and registration area: We are improving the structure and alternative texts of links so that login and registration work smoothly for all users.

The reasons why these points are still open usually lie in the complexity of the technical implementation and the necessary coordination with other development tasks. We prioritise these tasks to ensure the best possible user experience.

3. NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:

  • Incompatibility with accessibility regulations:
PDF documents that are not yet accessible are available for download on the website. If you need help with PDF documents that are not accessible, please contact [email protected]. In this case, we will endeavour to make the content available to you in a suitable manner as far as possible.
  • • Disproportionate burden:
For economic and organisational reasons, it is currently not yet possible to make older PDF documents and Office documents (etc.) accessible.
The listed incompatibilities with the accessibility regulations are being corrected on an ongoing basis.
  • Content outside the scope of the Accessibility Act:
Older documents and content that are not accessible are available on the website. As these were published before 28 June 2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act and no comprehensive changes are currently planned for them.
  • Content from third-party providers:
The website contains documents and content from third-party providers that are neither developed nor financed or controlled by us. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with the accessibility regulations and it is therefore also exempt from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.
